Teeth....
So yesterday Julianna finally poped the 2nd front tooth! YEAH!! I thought that meant this phase of teething was pretty much over. When Darren went to bed last night he went into Julianna's room and took a spit cloth out of her crib... which woke her up, that was 11:10pm she kept me up until 3:10am... I thought well, at least I still have 4 hours.... she was awake again at 3:55 and 4:40 and 5:25.... then Reuben woke at 6:30 (but fell asleep in my bed) of course Mason woke at 7:10 and was ready for the day. So that did not leave much room for sleep for me... so today I function strictly in zomby mode.... we'll see where the day takes us, my hope is that it takes me to a FANTASTIC night sleep tonight. There's always tomorrow. :)

Sleep Over
(I've been having some downloading problems so these next few posts will be a little old, but in the correct order of occurance)
A few weekends ago Reuben and Mason invited Justin to come over for a sleepover!! Boy were those 3 excited!!!

Justin climbing the half melted snow man!

Reuben loves to us the 'big' tools, he was sweeping away an ice rink.... we've had such strange weather lately that water has flooded our back yard and of course with the cold snap has turned to ice!

Mason's using the gardening shovel - that's more his size!

Oh how tired they will be tonight....

Popcorn and a Movie!! (Scooby Doo, what else is there?)
Boy was I right those three were SOOOOOOOOO tired, they couldn't keep their eyes open during the bedtime story at 8pm!! I brought them to bed and tucked in Mason, said his prayer and then did the same with Reuben, when I got to Justin I discovered he was already sleeping!! What a good little man, he can certainly sleep over at our house ANY day!!

Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day - growing up my Mom used to put little Valentine's 'treats' with a Valentine Heart in our lunch box (including my highschool days). Although I didn't always want to admit it, I secretly LOVED it!! I plan to continue the tradition with my kids. (So far just the red heart goes in the lunch, but by next year I'll write something on Reuben's as he is learning to read)...... So last night Grandma stops by the house - she and Grandpa were going to be away today so she wanted to bring Reuben and Mason their Valentine treats! (Julianna is just too little) Grandma baked RED cupcakes!! How cool and yummy. She brought a bag of chocolate treats, kindersurprise, smarties, kisses... what an awesome Grandma! She is such a wonderful part of my kids lives, I'm really excited to see those traditions turning into great memories for my kids too. Thanks Mom (& Dad) for being so GREAT!! We Love you!

Great Toy, Great Chair...
Recently, we purchased a new leather easy chair... boy is it easy!! Easy to sit in, to relax in, read in, have your tea in and of course EeeASY to SLEEP in!!! The kids loved playing with the box it came in, sometimes you have to wonder about all the money we spend on expensive toys - all we need to do is get some cardboard and away they go!

GOING CRAZY.....
uh yes the joys of snow..... the Hill's are feeling really cooped up these days. 3 snow days in the last week! Although Reuben hasn't missed any school (all the days were on his off days) but we've stayed home all 3 days, doesn't sound so bad does it?? Well, those were all scheduled outting days and the stay home days were the others, what does this mean? Well it means that I am going CRAZY!! Darren comes home and not only are the kids acting crazy so am I!! Julianna has her first cold, and it's a dozy.... her breathing sounds awful, I feel so bad for the little monkey! But of course this also means she's not sleeping good at night, grrrr. So the boys haven't had much of a "GOOD MORNING" greeting these last few days, of course I'm not sure pre-6am greetings are ever "GOOD". I guess we can all be thankful for the TV... Reuben has been misbehaving this morning - tormenting his brother in any and every way possible, so what could I do to get him where it hurts.... ban the TV for the rest of the day. WHAT WAS I THINKING. I guess we all learn lessons when desciplining our children.... I just wish it didn't hurt so much...... :) ops I hear a "I'm hurt cry" gotta go!!
